Overview

Dacreed is originally a financial compliance company looking to expand into producing dynamic and personalised learning experiences through the synchronising of AI technology in all areas. Through this they have already developed a platform for users to complete learning material with the range of courses they’re already offering.

The next phase is having a database that new users can discover and choose learning material based on a career pathways timeline person development plan through Dacreed. With that outlined, my main task was to design the base marketplace for new and existing users, with future proofing in mind.

Closing Notes

Thank you for sticking around till the end. This project at Dacreed is the largest one I’ve undertaken, and it has been a tremendous learning experience for me. I’ve grown in various aspects, from collaboration to execution.

It required approximately 3 months of effort to work with stakeholders and create mockups. Designing in a Series B startup, I discovered, requires a significant amount of alignment — about 30% was the actual design work, while the remaining 70% involved discussions with stakeholders, convincing the founders, and coordinating with other teams.

In the end, everyone, including myself, were happy to see a positive outcome, hoping to see a meaningful impact on Dacreed!
